I have been solving various twisty puzzles and slowly growing a collection of them since around 8th grade. Here is a short list of my favorite puzzles:
- Square-1, a shape-shifting puzzle that is an official WCA competition event
- 5-layer pyraminx, it's similar to solving a 5x5 cube except with fewer algorithims and is a much faster solve time due to only having 4 sides
- The bannana cuboid! This 2x2x3 cuboid is very striking and is a great cubing conversation starter
- Petal cube, one of the best beginner-friendly twisty puzzles
